Many of us have spent a lifetime ignoring our bodies. Journaling is one gentle way to start listening again: noticing what feels comfortable, what doesn’t, and what your body might be trying to tell you.
I’ve put together a free guide to help you begin. It includes:
- A few words on getting started, including permission to stop whenever you need to
- Tips for making journaling comfortable and safe
- 25 writing (or drawing) prompts about your relationship with your body, shared with permission from Hannah Milks
There’s no right way to do this. Go slowly, skip any prompt that doesn’t fit, and notice what happens in your body as you write.
